Monarch MTB
Location: Louisville, CO
The Monarch High School MTB Team has is made up of student-athletes from freshman through senior year. Anyone can join the team; there are no pre-requisites other than a desire to have fun on two wheels, learn about cycling, safely hone your fitness and skills in a welcoming environment, and develop camaraderie with your teammates.
While racing is not required, the team competes in the Yampa Division in the Colorado High School Cycling League through a series of 4 races plus a state championship event. Riders are provided with full support at races, including a team tent, snacks, feed zone support, a fire pit for the cold months, and more!
The team provides instruction and support 2x per week during the high school MTB season (July-October) to help empower student-athletes to set goals, challenge themselves and others to improve, and safely build a cycling culture to support lifelong physical activity and health.
